Shelton Public Schools Superintendent Contract Transparency Notice (Amended)
In accordance with the Nebraska Superintendent Pay Transparency Act, Shelton Public Schools is providing public notice regarding an amended superintendent contract for the 2026–2027 school year.
The Shelton Public Schools Board of Education will consider approval of the amended contract for Superintendent Rodney Engel at the regular board meeting scheduled for April 13, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. in the Conference Room in Shelton, Nebraska.
The amended contract includes $5,096 in additional compensation for coaching duties during the 2026–2027 school year. The superintendent’s base salary will remain $140,600, with additional district-paid benefits and compensation bringing the total estimated annual contract cost to $200,887.06.
The Board of Education will take action on the amended contract at the April 13 meeting. As always, the meeting is open to the public, and community members are welcome to attend.
