Congratulations to our winners! Shelton Elementary has so many responsible students! We will be practicing "gratitude" in November and look forward to seeing all of the ways students will display this character trait.
Along with taking part in the assembly for the character trait winners, Shelton Elementary students celebrated Red Ribbon Week and were able to interact with high school STAND students (Shelton Teens Against Negative Decisions). These students passed out character trait signs, gave high-fives to the elementary students on their way to class, and even went into classrooms, sharing why it's important to make good and healthy choices. Thank you to our STAND members for making it a special day!"
