Please make sure all of your student athlete's are well equipped for travel. Coats, sweatshirts, pants, hats, gloves, etc. It is still brutally cold and it's crucially important that your kiddos are properly clothed in the event of an emergency.

The JH boys basketball contest against Kenesaw that was supposed to take place last week has been rescheduled to Wednesday, January 24th. Full A and B games starting at 3:30p in Kenesaw.

Due to weather and road conditions the JH boys basketball contest this afternoon against Red Cloud has been postponed. We will keep you updated if a date is reached to reschedule the game.

A couple other notes:
1. The JH boys basketball game next week against Silver Lake, due to Silver Lake rescheduling a varsity contest, will now be played on Tuesday, February 6th at 5:00p before the girls varsity basketball game in Silver Lake
2. We are still working with Ansley Litchfield about possible makeup games. As of right now we don't have a date.
3. Due to the Shelton wrestling invite cancellation this past Saturday, the boys and girls wrestling parents will be acknowledged along with the girls and boys basketball parents on Friday, January 26th, in between the girls basketball and boys basketball games. Your parents night ticket will go out along with the basketball parents tickets. Please make plans accordingly.

Due to the nature of the weather and low visibility predicted for tomorrow morning, we will not be sending our JH boys basketball team to Kenesaw tomorrow morning. We will work together to find possible dates again on Monday.

Due to overnight weather forecasts which includes more snow, extreme cold throughout tomorrow, and reduced visibility for travel due to extreme winds, we have made the decision to cancel the Shelton wresting meet. We will update everyone on how we will handle parents day in the days to come.
