The Junior High Track team competed at Sandy Creek on Tuesday and had a great day! Once again, our character and performances made the day a great one! Our Male Athlete of the week is Connor Kennedy! Connor set new personal records in 100 hurdles, 200 hurdles, Pole Vault at Sandy Creek! Our Female Athlete of Week is Audrina Hall! Audrina has worked hard to improve! She set new personal records in the 1600 and Triple Jump at Sandy Creek! Our Leader of the week is Alison Nutter! Alison is a positive presence on the team and a very coachable athlete. She stepped up and volunteered to help on a relay when the team needed help. We were very proud of the entire Junior High Track team at Sandy Creek!

The Shelton Spanish Honor Society is happy to have the following students join us: Enrique Andrade, Susanna Cheney, Erin Gegg, Jaxson Ohlman, Olivia Cure, Logan Eutsler, Quinn Hellerich, Angela Hernandez, Reilly Jensen, Owen Johnson, Shelby Melsa, Juan Hernandez Blanco, Anthony Ramirez Hernandez, & Sonja Warner. They inducted in a ceremony on April 13, 2026.

The Junior High Track team had a great start to the season. Our day at the Ravenna Junior High track meet ended with several medalists and so many personal records set! Full results can be found at this link: https://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/meet/650474/results/all Our Junior High Female Athlete of the week is Oakleigh Pickel! Oakleigh placed in all of her events at the Ravenna Track meet! She learned many new events quickly and applied what she learned to earn four medals! Our male athlete of the week is Steele McKinley! Steele won the 100 meter race and placed in three other events! Our Junior High leader of the week is Michael Rabbe! Michael led many example at the Ravenna track meet. He remained positive, helped others, and set an example for others to follow. We were very proud of our entire team's performance and character at the Ravenna Track meet. Great work!

Our Animal Science students were in the "OR" today, putting their veterinary skills to the test! They learned the ins and outs of medicine injection techniques using food coloring and fruit! ​Despite some nerves, all of our patients — bananas, grapes, and some very brave oranges, made it through the procedures!

Each week, we celebrate students who demonstrate what it truly means to be a Shelton Bulldog. Whether it’s showing positive attitudes, demonstrating responsibility, putting forth extra effort in the classroom, or being kind and respectful to others, these students are leading by example.

Being a PUPS of the Week recipient isn’t just about one great moment — it reflects consistent character, hard work, and a commitment to doing the right thing even when no one is watching. We are incredibly proud of the way these students represent our school each and every day.

As we move into the final stretch of the school year, the message across our building is clear: Shelton Bulldogs are focused on finishing strong. 💪📚 We are committed to giving our best effort academically, making positive choices, supporting one another, and continuing to grow as learners and leaders.

The Shelton Golf Team is at it again - today at Overton Golf Club! All 8 players will complete in Overton's Four Ball tournament. And a big thanks to Mr. Engel for our personalized Shelton Golf Balls!!

The Junior High Track had a great week of practice! Our Male Athlete of the week is Giles Johnson! Giles led our distance athletes through a difficult workout last week. Meredith Poehler is our Female Athlete of the week. Meredith persevered through an injury and worked hard throughout the week. Our leader of the week is Emily Jovel Martinez. Emily leads by example every single practice. Our first meet is next Tuesday! We are excited to compete!
