The Junior High Track and Field team had an incredible week!

At the Franklin Invite, almost our entire team set a PR(personal record) in at least one event! (Picture #1)

We had many medalists at the Franklin Invite. The Boys won the meet, and the Girls placed 3rd! (Picture #2,3)

Our Male Athlete of the Week is Erick Mendez Jimenez! Erick won the 800 and the 1600(new PR). Erick also placed 2nd in the 400! (Picture #4)

Our Female Athlete of the Week is Aubrey Schutte! Aubrey won the Pole Vault(new PR). Aubrey also placed in the 100 hurdles(new PR) and set a new PR in the 200 hurdles. (Not Picture)

Our Leader of the week is Allison Cole! Allison is always positive and competitive! She works hard, doesn't complain, and sets an example for others to follow. (Picture #4)

The Junior High Track Teams had a great day at the Franklin Invite! Both teams accomplished their goals today, and there were many great performances by our kids! The Shelton Girls placed 3rd as a team, and the Shelton boys won the meet!

The Shelton Golf Team battled the spring heat and came out strong at the Sandy Creek Invitational! ☀️⛳ Four players set personal records on the course: - Jaxson: 74 - Drake: 93 - Reilly: 92 - Alexander: 99 The team also posted their lowest score of the season with a 358! Shoutout to Jaxson for earning 6th place overall! 👏 Great work, Bulldogs—keep it rolling! 🐾

They are great role models for their peers and truly represent what it means to BE YOU, BE BLUE. We are proud of the way they lead by example and help make Shelton Elementary a great place to learn and grow. Keep up the amazing work!

Connor set new personal records in 100 hurdles, 200 hurdles, Pole Vault at Sandy Creek! Our Female Athlete of Week is Audrina Hall! Audrina has worked hard to improve! She set new personal records in the 1600 and Triple Jump at Sandy Creek! Our Leader of the week is Alison Nutter! Alison is a positive presence on the team and a very coachable athlete. She stepped up and volunteered to help on a relay when the team needed help. We were very proud of the entire Junior High Track team at Sandy Creek!

The Junior High Track team had a great start to the season. Our day at the Ravenna Junior High track meet ended with several medalists and so many personal records set! Oakleigh placed in all of her events at the Ravenna Track meet! She learned many new events quickly and applied what she learned to earn four medals! Our male athlete of the week is Steele McKinley! Steele won the 100 meter race and placed in three other events! Our Junior High leader of the week is Michael Rabbe! Michael led many example at the Ravenna track meet. He remained positive, helped others, and set an example for others to follow. We were very proud of our entire team's performance and character at the Ravenna Track meet. Great work!
