On Wednesday, FFA members competed in the District 8 Livestock Evaluation Competition in Ord! Members evaluated cattle, pigs, sheep, and goats based on market and breeding characteristics! In addition, four members competed in the Poultry Evaluation Competition! This was Shelton FFA's first time trying this competition!

Members of Student Council and National Honor Society attended the Power of Change Youth Summit today. They practiced leadership skills by participating in topics such as healthy relationships and drug and alcohol use.

🏃🏼4th-6th graders had some nice weather the past two days to get their first mile run of the school year completed. Awesome work put in. Each student's mile time will be added to their PowerSchool PE Grade for the week, but here are the stats and an updated Elementary All-Time Mile List!

Cell Phone Challenge Begins Monday, October 6, 2025!
Congratulations to our PUPS of the Week! 🐾 These Bulldogs have shown outstanding character and leadership by meeting our Be You, Be Blue expectations. We are so proud of you—way to go!
TVC XC:
It was a hot day on a tough course, but our runners persevered and did what they had to do! The JH race and runners got us kicked off as we medaled six and took home both JH individual champions. Quynn 1st, Erick 1st, Kameron 2nd, Meredith 5th, Hudsyn 8th, and Audrina 10th.
Then we proceeded to the HS girls' race. Laurynn ran a tough race and brought home the 10th-place medal and is now 2 for 2 on becoming TVC All-Conference.
Lastly, the boys toed the line. Calculations had been done, and Kenesaw was the favorite to take home the crown. We set our goals, and each runner knew where they needed to be to flip the script. They did just that. Mateo led the way in 3rd place, Adan in 4th place (both becoming 2x TVC All-Conference). Jaxson passed a Kenesaw runner in the last 50 meters of the race to assure us the points we needed. We beat Kenesaw by two points to take home back-to-back TVC championships. Rhet and Jaxson leave their TVC careers with two championships and one runner-up.
